Belton, SC -  Please remember our October monthly meeting on
Tuesday 10/11 at 7:00 pm.  This will be a meal meeting so come early and hungry.   Menu will be hickory smoked chicken quarters, potato salad, cole slaw, BBQ beans, yeast rolls and, of course, bananna pudding.   Look forward to seeing you all there.   Great time to bring a guest and introduce them to our club.

Picture
Patrick Gunderson
Belton, SC -  Please join me in welcoming our newest member Mr. Patrick Gunderson.  Good to have you on board with us Patrick.

Reminder - Club Workday Saturday 9/17

At the meeting there were several tasks defined for the coming workday.
1) Feed Strip planting (Oats, Wheat, and Rye)  Thomas Bell to get Wheat and Oats, Tony Martin to get Rye and Fertilizer.  We will need pull behind spreaders and maybe a few 4 wheelers to pull them.  If you have a good hand spreader bring that too.
2) a group needs to walk the fence line in all the pens to reinforce any bad posts with metal ones.  Will need a driver if someone can bring one.  Also, need to patch any holes in the fence (pliers, wire cutters, etc. needed).
3) the partition fence between the front and back needs to be fixed in several places, especially around the gates to prevent dogs/rabbits from getting through.
4)  yard work  -  weed eating, grass mowing, etc. around the club house.
5) water containers in the enclosures need to be cleaned (scrubbed with a brush) Rhett Hand has completed cleaning the water drums.  Weed eating around the water spigots needs to be done also.
6)  clean out a walk path (approx 3 feet wide) around inside of puppy pen.  This will facilitate the necessary check of the wire periodically.
7) anything else that you feel is needed
Come and lets help make Foothills the best Beagle Club around.  Hope to see you Saturday.

Reminder - Club Meeting Tuesday 9/13/2011

Belton, SC -  Please remember our September monthly meeting on  Tuesday 9/13 at 7:00 pm.  This will be an important meeting to plan for our workday scheduled on Saturday 9/17.  Look forward to seeing you there.

January Club Meeting Cancelled

Weather was the cause for cancelling the club meeting on 1/11.  Nine inches of snow and ice that blanketed the upstate made driving very dangerous..
